National Youth Homelessness Conference in NSW

Following on from the successful Stop Survive Revive Youth Homelessness Conference held in August 2008, the Youth Accommodation Association (NSW’s peak youth homelessness body) is holding a Youth Homelessness Conference in Tweed Heads 12-14th October.

The conference is designed to be a showcase for new ideas, new research and good practice to support agencies and workers for opportunities and challenges ahead of our work to end youth homelessness in Australia. The timing of this conference will also provide an opportunity to consider, prepare and position our work in relation to the roll out and implementation of Federal Government’s The Road Home White Paper on homelessness and National Affordable Housing Agreement reforms in the current funding and policy context.
